TELEHOUSE Attends and Supports Data Center Strategics – Hong Kong 2011

On November 18th, 2011 TELEHOUSE America was present at the Hong Kong Data Centre Conference and Expo series at the Ritz Carlton. Presenters addressed the challenges faced by banking, financial services, and insurance companies when it comes to maintaining high performance and mission critical IT platforms. There were also multiple opportunities to network, chat about questions with experts, and ultimately discuss the future of the market in Hong Kong.

Topics included: “Capacity Planning & Floor Layout for Next-Generation Data Centres” by Mark Thiele, EVP Data Centre Tech at Switch, “Open Innovation: Opportunities and Collaborations Facilitated By The Cloud” by Eric Tsui, Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and “Green Grid’s Data Centre Maturity Model” by Harkeeret Singh, Global Head of Energy and Sustainable Technology at Thomson Reuters, just to name a few. Sales and Marketing Director of TELEHOUSE America, Fred Cannone, was there to share information about TELEHOUSE’s Hong Kong CCC facility, and to learn about how TELEHOUSE could more effectively fulfill the IT needs of businesses in Hong Kong.
